Wellington Air New Zealand Parking Terms & Conditions

By entering this car park you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, you must immediately leave the car park.

Air New Zealand Limited agrees to provide you with a car park space, on the following terms:

Wellington Air New Zealand Parking. Air New Zealand Parking Prepaid.

  1. You must:
    1. have purchased a parking ticket online at www.airnzparking.co.nz (valid for Wellington airport) and must display the parking ticket on the dashboard of your vehicle with the date and expiry time clearly visible;
    2. be travelling on an Air New Zealand ticketed or operated flight;
    3. comply with all signs displayed within this car park;
    4. not obstruct other persons or vehicles using the car park;
    5. not park in spaces that are marked "no parking" or "reserved" or outside the markings of parking bays.
    6. have a parking ticket valid for the entire period for which you intend to park your vehicle.
  2. You acknowledge that:
    1. Air New Zealand Limited shall have no liability or responsibility where:
      (i) you miss a flight or suffer a flight delay due to your use of this car park; or
      (ii) as a result of a flight delay, your parking ticket expires.
    2. changes to dates of the parking ticket are not permitted.
    3. parking tickets are non refundable.
  3. In the event that:
    1. your vehicle does not display a valid parking ticket, your vehicle shall be deemed to be parked unlawfully within the car park. In which case, we may issue notice that you are in breach of these terms together with a notice requiring you to pay within 14 days, the equivalent of the full day rate for that class of parking in which your vehicle is parked for any day or part day that your vehicle is unlawfully parked.
    2. you fail to pay the amount in clause 3.a. above then we will send a reminder notice requesting payment within 7 days of that fee and an additional amount $20 as an administration fee.
    3. you fail to pay the amount in clause 3.b. above we may pass the debt to a debt collection agency to enforce payment together with any costs incurred in the enforcement of that payment (including any reasonable solicitor costs).
  4. If your vehicle does not display a valid parking ticket, and your vehicle is parked within this car park for a period of 3 days beyond the date for which that parking ticket was valid, and where we have not been able to contact you on the telephone contact number on that your application for a parking ticket, then, in addition to the fees in clause 3. above, we may either apply a wheel clamp or arrange for your vehicle to be towed at your risk and expense. We may hold that vehicle until all outstanding debt has been paid. Where we arrange for the vehicle to be clamped, then a release fee of $80 will apply.
  5. In the event that your credit-card transaction declines or dishonours, we re serve the right to re-process the transaction at a later date and we reserve the right to charge an additional administration fee of $5.
  6. Damage and liability:
    1. You are liable for all costs of any damage to property caused by you or your vehicle.
    2. We cannot guarantee the security of your vehicle.
    3. Your vehicle and any articles or personal belongings are left at your risk.
    4. We accept no liability for any claim by you or any other person, whether for loss or damage to you or any other person or to your vehicle or any other vehicle, whether resulting from using the carpark or being unable to use the carpark or for negligence or otherwise.
    5. Our independent contractors will not accept your possessions for safe custody except the keys to your vehicle where possession is taken at your request.
    6. You indemnify us in respect of any claim made against us arising from your use of the carpark or the use of the carpark by anyone else with your authority.
  7. Grooming and maintenance:
    Air New Zealand Limited's independent contractors perform all grooming and maintenance services and as such the contractual relationship is between you and the independent contractor. At your request, Air New Zealand Limited may act as a booking agent between you and the relevant independent contractor in respect of those grooming and maintenance services that you request.
    1. You must arrange the performance of grooming and maintenance services directly with the independent contractor, unless Air New Zealand Limited has agreed to act as a booking agent above.
    2. You must arrange the payment directly with the independent contractor.
    3. We make no warranties or representations as to the work carried out by the independent contractor and accept no liability for the performance or non-performance.
  8. Air NZ reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time, in its sole discretion. Any amendments to these terms and conditions will be effective immediately upon posting on our website www.airnzparking.co.nz It is your responsibility to check for amendments before using the Air New Zealand Parking Services.
